Claim Validation: Rycan’s Claim Scrubbing Module automatically validates uploaded claims, ensuring
that there are no errors and that the claim is ready for billing. If a claim is found to have errors,
it is automatically placed into a user’s workflow queue for review. If no errors are found and the
claim appears to be correct, it will be marked as ready to bill and will be included in the next
scheduled billing cycle.
Edit Engine: We’ve partnered with 3M to include their extensive Edit Engine with our Claim Scrubbing
Module. These edits validate procedure codes, diagnostic codes, local and national coverage determinations,
CCI and OCE edits, state Medicaid and private payer rules, modifiers, and LMRPs. Rycan also offers additional
edits obtained from analyzing denied claims that your facility has received. We identify billing errors
and create edits to monitor these denial problems before they happen.
